Minako
and Natsumi's Reasons in Disliking Misty
1) Her design.
The lamest it is, the sooner is in view. We both recognize that
it's not the most intelligent reason, so let's end up soon. Misty
was very badly designed in both anime, manga and games. As if her
designers didn't like her too.
Misty herself isn't an ugly person, with her deep red hair and
green eyes. BUT!!!, as she tried to be as different as she could of
her sisters who were very pretty and vain (less in the manga...,
and in the game, they don't appear), she chose the wrong way: look bad!
The hairstyle she chose (the ponytail at a side of her head) is very difficult
to wear and look good with it (in fact, the only one looking good in it
was little Ryouko from the game "World Heroes", but that's another story).
No wonder Lily and Violet still tell that she's the "ugly little kid" (Daisy
doesn't tease her that much)!

in a kimono, and with her hair down! She looks good! Why does she choose
to look so bad instead? Natsumi recalls someone saying "She dresses
like a slut"; while we aren't so certain in it, we think that there's
a reason behind.
2) She's a bigmouth.
She can't seem to shut her trap!! As a proof: she said "who'd want a Jigglypuff who can't sing?"... in FRONT of Jigglypuff himself!! That's pretty cruel in itself!! Poor thing... Whe she's pissed, she generally starts yelling and screaming! She can't try to reason first!! And if calm, her comments are pretty dumb. Like, there's a big mess, and the only thing Misty says is "Oh no, I think there's trouble...". Duh!
3) Her attitude towards Ash Ketchum.
As Ash himself would say: "Yeah, I know I'm lame, I know I'm far of
being the best Pokemon trainer... BUT DO YOU HAVE TO REMIND ME OF IT EVERY
FIVE SECONDS?! ". 80% of her parlaments are directly/indirectly directed
to Ash's stupidity. We're no Ash fans, but even then, we're getting
tired of this. It's like the routine Chibiusa-Usagi rounds in Sailor
Moon that ended up sickening everyone. And worse: Whenever Misty
has a new speech agains Ash, SHE ALWAYS GET AWAY WITH IT, AND EVERYONE
AGREES THAT ASH IS A FOOL!! We already know Ash is lame, and so
does Bugger say in his Anti-Ash
page!! So stop reminding us!!
4) The whole affair of "Misty loves Ash".
Seems that many Pokemon fanatics can't get tired of this. We won't
go around the fact itself (others do better), but we'll state our position
here firmly: WE DON'T (AND WON'T) AGREE!!
Reality check, little teenyboppers. Misty is 13-14 years old, and there she is with a crush on... a 10
year old! Putting aside the pedophile jokes, we think that is something that NO real 13-year-old girl
would do. To prove it, we took a peek in the affairs of Minako-chan's
younger sister who's also 13, and all that she and her friends do are dreaming
with older boys! And when we asked them, they all said that they'd
never-ever dream with younger boys. So, the logic works, and we think
that this whole Ash/Misty affair is rather repeated and boring. Can't they
come with something better?
No, dahling, don't throw in "Misty's Song". It's a crappy kiddy pop song made up by the AMERICANS, but NEVER by the Pokemon Japanese production team. It's a false hope, keep on dreaming, and wait (if there's any) for the supposedly "official" Japanese song. Now that I remember, the guy who made the official manga (authorized by Tajiri-san and all), Toshiro Ohno, said "Misty's affection for Ash is only the type she'd have for the little sibling that she never had". And Japanese words are far much more valious than American words, in manga, of coz... ^^
And for worse, the Ash/Misty Shippers are known for flaming the ShiShi (Ash/Gary) fans and treat them very badly. That doesn't give a better impression about the pairing, didn't you know? Live and let live... and keep with the fact that there are TONS of ShiShi doujinshii (manga made by fans) in Japan, but NEVER, an Ash/Misty! *giggling*
5) She treats people and Psyduck sooooo badly!!!
As stated in nº 2, Misty is a yelling machine. If something
doesn't go the way she likes, or Ash misses a move (again?!), or Brock
drools at another girl, she starts screaming like mad and yammering to
everyone! No one's gonna stand out of your way just 'coz you
want so, you pretty princess, so next time, count 'til then before you
start the dumbass yelling show! You think that showing a strong character is only yell, lose youir temper, and that? With all of it, you've lost whatever you had of attitude!
You Misty diehard fan may yell at my face that Misty is sweet to Pokemon in general. My, my, do you remember The Psyduck factor? Recall it, and you'll that she yells
at it, insults it, and is very cruel to it. Being dumb is something,
but that's not Psyduck's fault. You'll see how shallow she is: she only likes Pokemon IF they're cute. Caterpie wasn't a beauty, okay, but she dissed it, and only got to appreciate it when it evolved from Metapod to the beautiful Butterfree (my fav Pokemon ever along with Jynx). But Psyduck, Caterpie... Hey, even Psyduck deserves better than be so badly treated! As it
is, the poor duckie is better off by itself, than with his own trainer!

Except the Pokemon concept and charas (*the two girls wink at Tajiri-san*), everything here is our own info and ramble. Keep it in mind. We may be childish for putting up an anti-shrine but we're mature enough to say that' it's mostly for (in)sane fun, and that others will agree/disagree with what we've said. No flames, please, as we're generally kind to pple, we want you to be it with us too.
